Do you have a high energy bill? Want to save energy? Or make your home more sustainable? The energy coach from the Sustainable Steenwijkerland Foundation can help. It's completely free and independent. During a home visit, you'll receive smart and affordable energy-saving tips. That's good for your wallet, your living comfort, and the environment. This way, you too can take Green Steps!

 

For everyone in Steenwijkerland

The energy coach is available to everyone in the municipality of Steenwijkerland. Whether you rent or own a home, live in a large or small home, alone or with a partner. The advice is free and independent.

 

Tailor-made advice

Our volunteer energy coaches are specially trained for this purpose. A home visit lasts approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. During the consultation, you can express your needs and any challenges you face when it comes to energy conservation. The energy coach will tailor their advice entirely to your situation.

 

Handy step-by-step plan

Together, you'll review your energy bill and energy consumption. For example, you'll look at heating and appliances that use a lot of energy. Based on this, you'll get:

• Useful saving tips
• Practical information
• Step-by-step plan that you can use right away
• With just a few small adjustments you can already save a lot.

 

Voucher for energy saving bag

During the visit, you'll receive a voucher for a customized energy-saving bag. Use this voucher to choose the energy-saving products that best suit your home.

 

For €50 products of your choice

You can choose up to €50 worth of products. Think of:

• P1 meter
• Energy Socket
• Radiator foil
• LED lamps
• Digital timer
• Hygrometer
• Draft strip

 

You check the products of your choice, perhaps with the help of an energy coach. Then, you hand in the voucher at the Duurzaam Doen Infopunt (Sustainable Activities Info Point) at Kerkstraat 4 in Steenwijk. You'll then receive the well-stocked bag and can get started at home. This will allow you to implement the first measures immediately.
